Writing at the intersection of astrology, somatic healing, and the psychology of the soul. Exploring what it means to be both human and cosmic — embodied in both.

People Keep Asking Me: What's Happening in the Cosmos?

My friends have known for years that I study astrology. And for years, the same questions have found their way to me — in text messages, over dinner, at the end of therapy sessions: Why does everything feel so heavy right now? Why are these themes showing up again? Why does this season feel so different from the last?

What they're really asking is: what does the sky have to do with what I'm feeling in my body, my relationships, my life?

The honest answer is — everything. The moon, the planets, the transits moving through our charts are not separate from our inner world. They are a mirror of it. The cosmos reflects the collective consciousness, and once you understand the language of that reflection, nothing feels quite as random or as isolating as it did before.

"I've spent years curating a tangible way to play with this symbolism — to make the language of the stars not just beautiful, but usable. That's what this blog is."

This is not a blog about prediction or fate. It is a blog about orientation. About using the archetypal language of astrology as a real, embodied tool for understanding why certain themes are alive right now — in the collective, in your nervous system, in your most intimate relationships — and what you can consciously do with that awareness.

I created this space because the conversation that happens between me and my friends, my colleagues, my clients — the one that begins with what's happening in the cosmos — deserves to be had more widely. You deserve access to this language. And you deserve it translated into something you can actually feel.

I've Always Known the Stars Were Trying to Tell Us Something

My relationship with astrology began before I had language for it. Around six or seven years old, my mother took me to watch an eclipse. My grandfather taught me the constellations by name. The cosmos felt like home before I even knew what that meant.

As a teenager, I turned to astrology to understand myself — particularly the fiery, determined parts of me that didn't always fit neatly into the world around me. I'm an Aries Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Venus. Learning to embrace rather than apologize for that energy was one of my earliest acts of self-sovereignty.

In 2018, after leaving a deeply harmful relationship, I felt completely lost. My birth chart became the map back to myself. That experience — of using astrology not as entertainment but as genuine psychological orientation — is at the root of everything I do now.

From 2019 to 2023, I studied under astrologer Madi Murphy in deep, long-form containers. This is where my embodiment journey truly began. I then turned to Glen Perry's work to understand the psychological architecture beneath the archetypal language — bridging the esoteric with the clinical. Combined with my 15+ years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in somatic trauma recovery, that synthesis became the Stellar Sovereignty framework.

Astrology as a Psychological & Somatic Process

Stellar Sovereignty is a method of reading astrology not as prediction, but as a living psychological and somatic map. By tracking planetary transits against your natal chart, we translate archetypal movements into emotional, relational, and nervous-system awareness — and then into practical ways to actually work with that energy in your body and your life.

This framework sits at the intersection of three lineages: depth-oriented clinical astrology (developed through years of study under Madi Murphy and Glen Perry's AstroPsychological model), somatic and polyvagal-informed therapy, and integrative energy psychology including Psychotherapeutic Reiki.

"Astrology doesn't tell you what will happen. It tells you what is alive in you — and invites you to meet it consciously, in the body, in real time."

Each transit is explored through seven lenses: the archetypal field, the developmental task, shadow expression, somatic and nervous system influence, clinical integration, and reflective practice. The result is not just insight — it is embodied transformation.

01

Archetypal Awareness

Understanding the planetary archetype as a living psychological force — not a fixed symbol, but a dynamic field with developmental meaning.

02

Somatic Integration

Locating cosmic energy in the body. Identifying nervous system patterns, body regions activated, and regulation practices aligned with each transit.

03

Clinical Depth

Bridging astrology with trauma-informed clinical frameworks — Polyvagal Theory, attachment, shadow work, and depth psychology — for practitioners and healing-seekers alike.

This Blog Is for Two Kinds of People

Those who want to embody their astrology — not just read it — and mental health practitioners who feel called to integrate the archetypal, the somatic, and the spiritual into their clinical work. You don't have to choose which one you are. Many of us are both.

Seasonal & Transit Reflections

In-depth explorations of planetary transits through a psychological and somatic lens — what they activate, what they ask of the nervous system, and how to work with them consciously.

Personal Integration Writing

Honest reflections from my own chart, my own healing, and my own embodiment practice. The kind of writing that invites you into your own inner world by way of mine.

Clinical Astrology for Practitioners

Frameworks, case lenses, and clinical integration tools for therapists and healing practitioners who are ready to bring depth-oriented astrology into their professional container.

Practices & Prompts

Each piece closes with something you can actually do — journal prompts, somatic practices, nervous system regulation tools, and reflective invitations to bring the writing into your body.

A Note on Who This Is For

Whether you are a therapist looking to integrate astrology clinically, or someone on a personal healing path who wants to understand themselves through the language of the cosmos — you are welcome here. This is not astrology as entertainment. It is astrology as medicine. Come as you are, wherever you are in your journey.
